Gamdom Roulette: Two Wheels, Two Tempos
The name covers two quite different games. One is Gamdom's own red / green / black wheel, resolving every few seconds with the whole community betting the same round. The other is classic single-zero roulette, straight-up numbers and all, dealt on a table or streamed from a studio.
Originals roulette against the classic table
Same family, different game. The Originals wheel is a community round; the classic table is yours alone.
Gamdom Originals roulette
Three positions — Red, Black and Green — with a countdown bar, a running history strip of recent results, and every player's stake visible under each colour. Red and black pay 2×; green pays a much larger multiple and lands far less often.
- Round every few seconds
- Shared with everyone online
- Quick-stake buttons and autobet
- Result history published on screen
Classic and live tables
The 37-pocket European layout: numbers 1–36 plus a single zero, inside bets, outside bets, and a croupier — software or human — spinning the ball. Live rooms stream from third-party studios with timed betting windows.
- Full inside and outside bet menu
- Straight-up numbers at 35:1
- Slower rounds, higher ceiling
- Table limits vary by room
What each bet pays
European roulette figures. The payout column is what the table returns; the probability column is why the house stays ahead.
| Bet | Covers | Pays | Chance of landing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Straight up | One number | 35:1 | 1 in 37 (2.70%) |
| Split | Two adjacent numbers | 17:1 | 5.41% |
| Street | Three in a row | 11:1 | 8.11% |
| Corner | Four numbers | 8:1 | 10.81% |
| Line | Six numbers | 5:1 | 16.22% |
| Column / dozen | Twelve numbers | 2:1 | 32.43% |
| Red / black | Eighteen numbers | 1:1 | 48.65% |
| Odd / even | Eighteen numbers | 1:1 | 48.65% |
How a round actually runs
- 1
Betting window opens
On the Originals wheel this is a countdown bar of a few seconds. At a live table, the croupier calls it and the interface shows a timer.
- 2
You place stakes
Multiple positions are allowed in the same round — covering red and green together is common, and the quick buttons (+CA$10, ½, ×2, Max) exist for exactly that.
- 3
Betting closes
The wheel resolves. Originals rounds publish the result to the history strip immediately; live tables show the ball settle.
- 4
Payouts settle
Winnings hit the balance before the next window opens, which is why autobet exists — the loop is designed to keep moving.
Three things that are not true
"It's due." The wheel has no memory. Eight reds in a row changes nothing about the ninth spin — the history strip is a record, not a forecast.
"Martingale beats it." Doubling after every loss converts many small wins into a rare catastrophic one, and table limits stop the recovery exactly when you need it most.
"Green is the value bet." Bigger multiple, proportionally rarer result. The expected return is not improved by chasing the rare outcome; only the variance changes.
Getting to the tables
Roulette sits under Casino → Originals for the fast wheel, and under Live Games for streamed tables. Both need a funded account; the Originals wheel also runs in demo on a zero stake if you want to watch the rhythm first. New account? Roulette questions
Originals roulette is the fast in-house version: a shared round every few seconds, three betting positions — red, black and green — and a visible history strip of recent results. A classic European wheel is the familiar 37-pocket table with straight-up numbers, splits, corners and outside bets. Same family of game, very different tempo.
It is the house edge, in one pocket. On a single-zero wheel, red and black each cover 18 of 37 pockets, so an even-money bet wins slightly less than half the time. That gap is roughly 2.7% and it does not change no matter how the last ten spins landed.
A straight-up number at 35:1 on a classic table, or green on the Originals wheel, which pays at a much higher multiple than red or black. Bigger payout, proportionally rarer hit — the expected return is not improved by chasing it.
Yes, through the live casino section, where third-party studios stream real wheels with real croupiers. Betting windows are timed, so those tables run slower than the Originals wheel.
No. Doubling after a loss changes the shape of your results, not the maths behind them — it trades many small wins for occasional very large losses, and table limits cap the recovery. Set a session budget instead.
